Read My Story

People often ask me where the idea for Self-Love Vital Signs came from.

The truth is, it wasn’t born from a business plan or a marketing strategy.

It was born from my own life.

For years, I did what so many women do. I poured into my family, my patients, my calling, my businesses, and the people God entrusted to me. I showed up. I kept going. I got things done.

From the outside, my life looked successful. I was accomplishing goals I had prayed for, serving others, building, growing, and doing what many would consider meaningful work.

But beneath the surface, there were signs I wasn’t recognizing.

I wasn’t falling apart. I was functioning.
I was accomplishing.
I was serving.
But I wasn’t caring for myself the way I cared for everyone else.

My body eventually began telling the story my heart had been trying to tell all along.

I was living with high stress.
Inflammation.
Elevated insulin levels.
Poor boundaries.
Little rest.
An always-on mindset.
I could accomplish almost anything…
…but I wasn’t always aligned.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I had spent years teaching people how to recognize physical warning signs before they became bigger problems. Then one day, I realized something I couldn’t ignore.

Just as our bodies have vital signs that reveal what’s happening physically, our lives have vital signs that reveal what’s happening emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.

When we learn to recognize those signs, we begin to understand where healing, alignment, and growth are needed. That realization became the foundation for Self-Love Vital Signs.

Today, my mission is to help people recognize the signs beneath the surface so they can heal, align, and become the person God designed them to be.

I believe healing begins with awareness.
Wholeness begins with honesty.

And transformation begins when we have the courage to respond to what we’ve ignored for far too long.

Self-Love Vital Signs is my invitation to do exactly that.
Because I don’t believe self-love is about putting yourself first.

I believe it’s about stewarding the life God has entrusted to you so you can love God, love others, and fulfill your purpose from a place of wholeness.

Self-Love is sacred because wholeness is holy.
